Defrost

IVI employs an electric defrost with calrods method. This system utilizes an advanced computer controller for Micro Control Systems (MCS) that is programed in-house to meet our specific needs. With this system and defrost we can increase runtime operation by utilizing rotating coils and allowing the system to defrost itself. This improves the overall runtime and, unlike hot gas, has an infinite heat to ensure less defrost time required. By removing the hot gas from the system for defrost, there is also less stress on the compressor making the system more reliable.
